Ταῦτα ἐντέλλομαι ὑμῖν, ἵνα ἀγαπᾶτε ἀλλήλους (John 15:17)

Title:  I Command You These Things, So That You Might Love One Another

The text is, “Ταῦτα ἐντέλλομαι ὑμῖν, ἵνα ἀγαπᾶτε ἀλλήλους”.

Ταῦτα -> neuter, plural, accusative, demonstrative pronoun -> things | these things

ἐντέλλομαι -> first person, singular, present, middle, indicative verb -> I command

ὑμῖν -> second person, personal, plural, dative pronoun -> you

ἵνα -> subordinating purposive conjunction -> so that

ἀγαπᾶτε -> second person, plural, present, active, subjunctive verb -> you might love

ἀλλήλους -> masculine, plural, accusative, reciprocal pronoun -> one another

The meaning of this verse is,

I command you these things, so that you might love one another.”
