Title:  If the World Hates You, You Must Know that, Before You, It Hated Me

The text is, “Εἰ ὁ κόσμος ὑμᾶς μισεῖ, γινώσκετε ὅτι ἐμὲ πρῶτον ὑμῶν μεμίσηκεν”.

Εἰ -> subordinating conditional conjunction -> if

ὁ -> masculine, singular, nominative article -> the

κόσμος -> masculine, singular, nominative noun -> world

ὑμᾶς -> second person, personal, plural, accusative pronoun -> you

μισεῖ -> third person, singular, present, active, indicative verb -> hates | detests | regards with ill-will

γινώσκετε -> second person, plural, present, active, imperative verb -> you must know

ὅτι -> subordinating complementary conjunction -> that

ἐμὲ -> first person, personal, singular, accusative pronoun -> me

πρῶτον -> adverb -> before

ὑμῶν -> second person, personal, plural, accusative pronoun -> you

μεμίσηκεν -> third person, singular, perfect, active, indicative verb -> it hated

The meaning of this verse is,

If the world hates me, you must know that, before you, it hated me.”
