οὐχ ὑμεῖς με ἐξελέξασθε, ἀλλ’ ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς καὶ ἔθηκα ὑμᾶς ἵνα ὑμεῖς ὑπάγητε (John 15:16)

Title:  You Did Not Choose Me, but I Chose You, and I Appointed You So That You Might Depart

The text is, “οὐχ ὑμεῖς με ἐξελέξασθε, ἀλλ’ ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς καὶ ἔθηκα ὑμᾶς ἵνα ὑμεῖς ὑπάγητε καὶ καρπὸν φέρητε καὶ ὁ καρπὸς ὑμῶν μένῃ, ἵνα ὅ τι ἂν αἰτήσητε τὸν πατέρα ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί μου δῷ ὑμῖν”.

οὐχ -> negative particle -> not

ὑμεῖς -> second person, personal, plural, nominative pronoun -> you

με -> first person, personal, singular, accusative pronoun -> me

The meaning of this verse is,

You did not choose me, but I chose you, and I appointed you so that you might depart and you might bear fruit and that your fruit might remain, so that whatever you might ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.”
