Title:  Now it Was Sabbath on the Day Jesus Made Mud

The text is, “ἦν δὲ σάββατον ἐν ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ τὸν πηλὸν ἐποίησεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς καὶ ἀνέῳξεν αὐτοῦ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς”.

“ἦν”:  third person, singular, imperfect, indicative verb meaning “it was”.

“δὲ”:  coordinating conjunction meaning “now”.

“σάββατον”:  neuter, singular, nominative noun meaning “sabbath”.
