Title:  So the Jews Were Saying, “Will He Not Kill Himself?”

The text is, “ἔλεγον οὖν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι· μήτι ἀποκτενεῖ ἑαυτόν, ὅτι λέγει· ὅπου ἐγὼ ὑπάγω ὑμεῖς οὐ δύνασθε ἐλθεῖν”.

“ἔλεγον”:  third person, plural, imperfect, active, indicative verb meaning “were saying”.

“οὖν”:  coordinating inferential conjunction meaning “so”.

“οἱ”:  masculine, plural, nominative article meaning “the”.
