Title:  Jesus Answered Them, “Truly, truly, I say to You”

The text is, “ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι πᾶς ὁ ποιῶν τὴν ἁμαρτίαν δοῦλός ἐστιν τῆς ἁμαρτίας”.

“ἀπεκρίθη”:  third person, singular, aorist, passive, indicative verb meaning “answered”.

“αὐτοῖς”:  third person, personal, masculine, plural, dative pronoun meaning “them”.

“ὁ”:  masculine, singular, nominative article meaning “the” but it is not rendered into English here.

Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, that everyone who is doing the sin is a slave of the sin.”
