Title:  Neither Do You Understand That It Is Advantageous To You

The text is, “οὐδὲ λογίζεσθε ὅτι συμφέρει ὑμῖν ἵνα εἷς ἄνθρωπος ἀποθάνῃ ὑπὲρ τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ μὴ ὅλον τὸ ἔθνος ἀπόληται”.

“οὐδὲ”:  coordinating disjunctive conjunction meaning “neither”.

“λογίζεσθε”:  third person, plural, present, middle, indicative verb meaning “you do understand”.

“ὅτι”:  subordinating complementary conjunction meaning “that”.

“συμφέρει”:  third person, singular, present, active, indicative verb meaning “it is advantageous”.

The meaning of this verse is,

Neither do you understand that it is advantageous to you that one man should die for the people, not the whole nation should perish”.
