Μὴ ἀγαπᾶτε τὸν κόσμον μηδὲ τὰ ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ (I John 2:15)

Title:  Do Not Love the World or That in the World.

The text is, “Μὴ ἀγαπᾶτε τὸν κόσμον μηδὲ τὰ ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ ἐάν τις ἀγαπᾷ τὸν κόσμον οὐκ ἔστιν ἡ ἀγάπη τοῦ πατρὸς ἐν αὐτῷ”.

Μὴ -> negative particle -> not

ἀγαπᾶτε -> second person, plural, present, active, imperative verb -> do love

τὸν -> masculine, singular, accusative article -> the

κόσμον -> masculine, singular, accusative noun -> world

μηδὲ -> coordinating disjunctive conjunction -> or

The meaning of this verse is,

Do not love the world, or that in the world.  If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
