Title:  And They Answered and Said to Him

The text is, “ἀπεκρίθησαν καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ ἐν ἁμαρτίαις σὺ ἐγεννήθης ὅλος καὶ σὺ διδάσκεις ἡμᾶς καὶ ἐξέβαλον αὐτὸν ἔξω”.

“ἀπεκρίθησαν”:  third person, plural, aorist, active, indicative verb meaning “they answered”.

“καὶ”:  coordinating conjunction meaning “and”.

“εἶπαν”:  third person, plural, aorist, active, indicative verb meaning “said”.

“αὐτῷ”:  third person, personal, masculine, singular, dative pronoun meaning “to him”.

“ἐν”:  preposition taking the dative for its object word and meaning “in”.

“ἁμαρτίαις”:  feminine, plural, dative noun meaning “sins”.

They answered and said to him, “You were born in entire sin, and do you teach us?”  And they drove him out.
