Title:  For in this Way God so Loved

The text is, “οὕτως γὰρ ἠγάπησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν κόσμον, ὥστε τὸν υἱὸν τὸν μονογενῆ ἔδωκεν, ἵνα πᾶς ὁ πιστεύων εἰς αὐτὸν μὴ ἀπόληται ἀλλ’ ἔχῃ ζωὴν αἰώνιον”.

“οὕτως”:  intensifying adverb meaning “in this way”.

“γὰρ”:  coordinating explanatory conjunction meaning “for”.

“ἠγάπησεν”:  third person, singular, aorist, active, indicative verb meaning “loved”.

“ὁ”:  masculine, singular, nominative article meaning “the” but it is not rendered into English here.
