The text is, “οὐκ ἦν ἐκεῖνος τὸ φῶς, ἀλλ’ ἵνα μαρτυρήσῃ περὶ τοῦ φωτός”.

οὐκ -> negative particle -> not

ἦν -> third person, singular, imperfect, indicative verb -> was

ἐκεῖνος -> masculine, singular, nominative, demonstrative pronoun -> he

τὸ ->neuter, singular, nominative article -> the

φῶς -> neuter, singular, nominative noun -> light
