Title:  The Official Said to Him

The text is, “λέγει πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ βασιλικός· κύριε, κατάβηθι πρὶν ἀποθανεῖν τὸ παιδίον μου”

“λέγει”:  third person, singular, present, active, indicative verb meaning “says”.

“πρὸς”:  preposition taking the accusative for its object word and meaning “to” or “toward”.

“αὐτὸν”:  third person, personal, masculine, singular, accusative pronoun meaning “him”.

“ὁ”:  masculine, singular, nominative article meaning “the”.

“βασιλικός”:  masculine, singular, nominative noun meaning “official”.

“κύριε”:  third person, masculine, singular, vocative noun meaning “sir”, “master”, or “lord”.

“κατάβηθι”:  second person, singular, aorist, active, imperative verb meaning “come down”.
