Title:  If Anyone Should Not Remain in Me He Was Thrown Away Like a Branch

The text is, “ἐὰν μή τις μένῃ ἐν ἐμοί, ἐβλήθη ἔξω ὡς τὸ κλῆμα καὶ ἐξηράνθη καὶ συνάγουσιν αὐτὰ καὶ εἰς τὸ πῦρ βάλλουσιν καὶ καίεται”.

ἐὰν -> subordinating conditional conjunction -> if

μή -> negative particle -> not

τις -> masculine, singular, nominative, indefinite pronoun -> anyone

μένῃ -> third person, singular, present, active, subjunctive verb -> should remain

ἐν -> preposition taking the dative for its object word -> in

ἐμοί -> first person, personal, singular, dative pronoun -> me

The meaning of this verse is,

If anyone does not remain in me he was thrown away like a branch and was withered, and they gather and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”
