Title:  And Yet a Little Time I am Among You

The text is, “Εἶπεν οὖν ὁ Ἰησοῦς· ἔτι χρόνον μικρὸν μεθ’ ὑμῶν εἰμι καὶ ὑπάγω πρὸς τὸν πέμψαντά με”.

“Εἶπεν”:  third person, singular, aorist, active, indicative verb meaning “said”.

“οὖν”:  coordinating inferential conjunction meaning “then”.

“ὁ”:  masculine, singular,nominative article meaning “the” but it is not rendered into English here.

“Ἰησοῦς”:  masculine, singular, nominative noun meaning “Jesus”.

“ἔτι”:  temporal adverb meaning “yet”.

“χρόνον”:  masculine, singular, accusative noun meaning “a time”.

“μικρὸν”:  masculine, singular, accusative adjective meaning “little”.

“μεθ’”:  preposition taking the genitive for its object word and meaning “with” or “among”.

“ὑμῶν”:  second person,personal, plural, genitive pronoun meaning “you”.

“εἰμι”:  first person, singular, present, indicative verb meaning “I am”.

“καὶ”:  coordinating conjunction meaning “and”.

“ὑπάγω”:  first person, singular, present, active, indicative verb meaning “I go away”.

“πρὸς”:  preposition taking the accusative for its object word and meaning “to”.

“τὸν”:  first, person, singular, accusative article meaning “the”.

“πέμψαντά”:  aorist, active, participial, masculine, singular, accusative verb meaning “one having sent”.

“με”:  first person, personal, singular, accusative pronoun meaning “me”.

The meaning of this verse is,

And yet a little time I am among you, and then I go away to the one having sent me.”
