Title:  The Pharisees Answered and Said to Him

The text is, ” Ἀπεκρίθησαν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ οὐ καλῶς λέγομεν ἡμεῖς ὅτι Σαμαρίτης εἶ σὺ καὶ δαιμόνιον ἔχεις”.

“Ἀπεκρίθησαν”:  third person, plural, aorist, passive, indicative verb meaning “answered”.

“οἱ”:  masculine, plural, nominative article meaning “the”.

“Ἰουδαῖοι”: masculine, plural, nominative, proper noun meaning “Pharisees”.

“καὶ”:  coordinating conjunction meaning “and”.

“εἶπαν”:  third person, plural, aorist, active, indicative verb meaning “said”.

“αὐτῷ”:  third person, personal, masculine, singular, dative pronoun meaning “to him”.

The Pharisees answered and said to him, “Do we not rightly say that you are a Samaritan an and you have an evil spirit?”
