Title:  Now Jesus Went up into The Mountain

The text is, “ἀνῆλθεν δὲ εἰς τὸ ὄρος Ἰησοῦς καὶ ἐκεῖ ἐκάθητο μετὰ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ”.

“ἀνῆλθεν”:  third person, singular, aorist, active, indicative verb meaning “went up”.

“δὲ”:  coordinating conjunction meaning “now”, “but”, or “and”.

“εἰς”:  preposition taking the accusative for its object word and meaning “on” or “into”.

“τὸ”:  neuter, singular, accusative article meaning “the”.

“ὄρος”:  neuter, singular, accusative noun meaning “mountain”.

“Ἰησοῦς”:  masculine, singular, nominative noun meaning “Jesus”.

“καὶ”:  coordinating conjunction meaning “and”.

“ἐκεῖ”:  adverb of place meaning “there”.

“ἐκάθητο”:  third person, singular, imperfect, middle, indicative verb meaning “was sitting”.

“μετὰ”:  preposition taking the genitive for its object word and meaning “with”.

“τῶν”:  masculine, plural, genitive article meaning “the” but it is not rendered into English here.

“μαθητῶν”:  masculine, plural, genitive noun meaning “disciples”.

The meaning of this verse is,

Now Jesus went up into the mountain, and was sitting there with his disciples.
