Title:  And Many of the Jews Had Come For the Benefit of Martha and Mary

The text is, “πολλοὶ δὲ ἐκ τῶν Ἰουδαίων ἐληλύθεισαν πρὸς τὴν Μάρθαν καὶ Μαριὰμ ἵνα παραμυθήσωνται αὐτὰς περὶ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ”.

“πολλοὶ”:  masculine, plural, nominative adjective meaning “many”.

“δὲ”:  coordinating conjunction meaning “and”.

“ἐκ”:  preposition taking the genitive for its object word and meaning “of”, “from”, or “out of”.
