Title:  We Know that God Does Not Hear Sinners

The text is, “οἴδαμεν ὅτι ἁμαρτωλῶν ὁ θεὸς οὐκ ἀκούει, ἀλλ’ ἐάν τις θεοσεβὴς ᾖ καὶ τὸ θέλημα αὐτοῦ ποιῇ τούτου ἀκούει”.

“οἴδαμεν”:  first person, plural, perfect, active, indicative verb meaning “we know”.

“ὅτι”:  subordinating complementary conjunction meaning “that”.

“ἁμαρτωλῶν”:  masculine, plural, genitive adjective meaning “sinners”.

“ὁ”:  masculine, singular, nominative article meaning “the” but it is not rendered into English here.
