Title:  But Jesus, Knowing in Himself

The text is, “εἰδὼς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐν ἑαυτῷ ὅτι γογγύζουσιν περὶ τούτου οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· τοῦτο ὑμᾶς σκανδαλίζει”.

“εἰδὼς”:  present, active, participial, masculine, singular, nominative verb meaning “knowing”.

“δὲ”:  coordinating conjunction meaning “but”.

“ὁ”:  masculine, singular, nominative article meaning “the” but it is not rendered into English here.

“Ἰησοῦς”:  masculine, singular, nominative, proper noun meaning “Jesus”.
